OPTICIANChildren's Vision Center | Tulsa, OK Pay: $16-$22/hour | Full-Time A growing children's vision center in Tulsa is seeking a friendly, patient, professional Optician to join their team! This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and families and is interested in building a career in pediatric eye care. Previous optician experience is preferred, but NOT required! Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a genuine desire to work with children. RESPONSIBILITIES Help children and their parents/guardians select eyeglass frames. Assist with measuring, fitting, and adjusting glasses for proper comfort and fit. Help children feel comfortable and excited about wearing glasses. Educate families on proper eyewear care and maintenance. Answer questions regarding frames, lenses, and eyewear options. Assist with ordering and dispensing eyewear. Maintain accurate patient and eyewear information. Provide excellent customer service to children and their families. Keep the optical area clean, organized, and welcoming. Assist with other clinic duties as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines. QUALIFICATIONS Previous optician experience is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided! Must genuinely enjoy working with children and be comfortable interacting with pediatric patients. Friendly, patient, outgoing, and compassionate personality. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail. Comfortable learning new terminology, equipment, and procedures. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Previous healthcare, optical, retail, or customer service experience is a plus. Basic computer skills required.
