Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Employment and Labor Litigation Associate in Seattle, Washington. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, providing high-level advice on employment law compliance, and defending companies in complex employment actions.

Duties

• Provide day-to-day advice on employment law compliance issues.
• Litigate trade secret and employee mobility cases.
• Defend companies in wrongful termination and discrimination disputes.
• Conduct workplace investigations, including C-suite level.
• Perform due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Negotiate executive employment and separation agreements.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of litigation experience.
• Strong writing and client relations skills.
• Ability to manage litigation independently.
• Trial experience preferred but not required.
• Admitted to the state bar or eligible to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• State bar admission.

Skills

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in drafting and arguing briefs and motions.
• Experience in taking and defending depositions.
