Leveraged Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a finance associate with a focus on fund finance and private credit transactions to join its leveraged finance subgroup in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in fund finance, private credit, leveraged finance, debt capital markets, and/or structured finance. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy. Draft well-written legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts. Assist in managing complex cases and transactions from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing professional support and advice. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative case strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities such as court hearings and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations. Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance legal skills. Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work. Requirements Minimum of four years of leveraged finance experience. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Admitted to practice in the state of Florida. Education JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state in which they are officing. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and good business judgment. Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
