Pinnacle Locum Tenens, a division of Pinnacle Health Group, is seeking an experienced Locum Tenens Marketing & Business Development Manager to drive direct client acquisition and revenue growth nationwide.

\n

This role is dedicated to developing and securing direct hospital, health system, and healthcare organization relationships for the placement of locum tenens physicians and advanced practice providers.

\n

Position Overview

\n

The Marketing & Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new direct locum tenens opportunities. The ideal candidate understands the locum tenens industry, hospital staffing structures, MSP/VMS environments, and the operational needs of healthcare organizations.

\n

This is a high-impact role focused on strategic outreach, relationship development, and long-term account growth.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

Develop and execute targeted strategies to secure direct locum tenens contracts with hospitals, healthcare systems, and medical groups

\n

Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with decision-makers (C-suite, medical staff offices, department leaders)

\n

Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting through contract execution

\n

Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to align client needs with provider placement strategies

\n

Maintain consistent pipeline activity and account development reporting

\n

Represent Pinnacle at industry conferences and networking events as needed

\n

Required Qualifications

\n

Must have a minimum of 2 years locum Tenens Business development experience in order to apply 

\n

Proven success generating direct business within healthcare staffing or locum tenens

\n

Strong understanding of hospital staffing models and physician workforce challenges

\n

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships

\n

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

\n

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment

\n

Bachelor’s degree preferred
