Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Physical Therapist – Outpatient – Barnstable, MA

Seeking a traveling Physical Therapist to deliver outpatient care in Barnstable, MA. The clinician will evaluate patients, establish measurable treatment goals, provide therapeutic interventions, document progress, and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members. The role includes patient and family education, supervision of support staff, participation in quality initiatives, and professional development activities. Time and responsiveness are appreciated.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Ability to evaluate adults and pediatric patients, develop treatment plans, perform therapeutic modalities, and provide documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with interdisciplinary teams and provide patient/family education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialist certification or clinical specialist experience is preferred and should be documented if applicable.
• Experience supervising PT assistants, aides, or students is preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0700-1800.
• Scheduled work pattern: 4x10.
