Medical Science Liaison, Immunology - Admilparant (CO, NM)

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with academic and community research thought leaders, appropriate healthcare providers (HCPs), and access stakeholders within a defined geography to answer scientific, unsolicited product, and health economics outcomes research (HEOR) related questions. Use various communication channels (1:1, group presentations, remote, etc.) to engage with thought leaders and HCPs. Demonstrate proficiency in using scientific resources and presentations, effectively presenting information and responding to queries while ensuring medical accuracy and compliance with local procedures, ethical and legal guidelines. Actively assess the medical landscape by meeting with thought leaders, HCPs, and access stakeholders to understand their needs and expertise. Continuously update knowledge of treatment strategies, products, unmet medical needs, clinical trials, health economics, and scientific activities. Understand the competitive landscape and evolving healthcare models, preparing to address informational needs of customers. Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease‑state initiatives, collaborative research projects, and investigator‑sponsored research (ISR) aligned with BMS objectives. Attend medical congresses and local/regional meetings, collecting and communicating meaningful medical insights back to medical and commercial organizations to support strategy development. Contribute to the development of geography‑specific field medical and thought‑leader interaction plans based on therapeutic area objectives. Engage cross‑functional field teams within the assigned geography, providing scientific support at promotional meetings and supporting initial and ongoing medical/scientific training for internal stakeholders. Participate in congress activities and support clinical trial activities, including interventional and non‑interventional research studies, facilitating patient recruitment and discussions on safe and effective use of BMS investigational products. Provide recommendations and insights on study and site feasibilities to the clinical development team. Support HCPs in ISR submission and execution, study follow‑up, and ensure BMS pharmacovigilance procedures are understood and applied. Actively support CRO‑sponsored studies as agreed with medical and global development operations. Position Requirements MD, PharmD, PhD, APP, PA, NP with experience in a specific disease area or with a broad medical background and relevant pharmaceutical experience. Knowledge of scientific publications, clinical trial design and process, national healthcare and access environment, competitive landscape, patient treatment trends, and health economics outcomes research. Excellent English language skills, spoken and written. Desired Experience and Skills Minimum of 2 years in a clinical and/or pharmaceutical environment. Prior MSL experience. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Skill in translating scientific or clinical data into understandable and valuable information for physicians. Strong communication and presentation skills for conveying scientific and clinical data to researchers or healthcare professionals. Proficiency in developing peer‑to‑peer relationships with thought leaders, scientists, and other healthcare professionals. Rapid and comprehensive learning of new subject areas and environments. Demonstration of BMS values. Essential Qualification Ability to operate a BMS‑provided vehicle between locations, often traveling great distances, arriving ready and able to demonstrate applied knowledge of healthcare industry trends. High level of ethics, integrity, and a responsible and safe driving history. Travel Requirement Field‑based; must live in the territory managed or within 50 miles of the territory borders. Majority of time spent in the field with external customers. Compensation Overview Base salary range: $166,090 – $201,262 (US). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available based on eligibility. Final compensation determined on the basis of demonstrated experience.
