Hematology/Oncology Physician

Locums - Martinsville, Virginia Hematology/Oncology Opening Clinical Role Provide Hematology/Oncology coverage for an established outpatient practice. Long-term commitment and drive-in candidates are preferred. Assignment Details Coverage Dates: September 8-October 30, 2026November 16-November 22Ongoing Need Schedule:
- Outpatient clinical hours plus light call
- 4 shifts per week
- 8-10 hours per day based on patient volume
- Overtime after 40 hours per week
- Approximately 12-15 patients per day
- Light beeper call for established patients
- Approximately 2-5 phone calls per week
- 1-hour response time
- No onsite night or weekend call requirement
- 3 established permanent providers plus 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staff
- This is joining an existing team, not solo coverage
- 13-bed facility
- Aria EMR
- Apartment available
- Drive-in candidates preferred
- Board Certified/Board Eligible - Required
- Hematology/Oncology Fellowship - Required
- Active Virginia license - Required
- ABLS, ACLS, BLS - Required
