Operating Room Surgical Technologist (OR Tech) – Travel Job in Columbus, Ohio Experienced OR Tech needed for a 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, Ohio. Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,970-$2,290 Employment Type: Travel Surgical Technologist / OR Tech Setting: Operating Room Location: Columbus, Ohio Start Date: 8/10/2026 Duration: 13-week assignment Shifts Per Week: 4 Shift Duration: 10 Hour Days Schedule: Variable shifts Monday through Friday, with start and end times between 6:30 AM and 11:30 PM Additional Schedule Requirements: Weekends, holidays, and call as needed Job Requirements Minimum 3 years of Operating Room Surgical Tech experience required Current BCLS certification required Recent experience in Level I Trauma and Neuro required Demonstrated experience in neurosurgery, spine, complex orthopedic/ortho spine, and complex general surgery including bariatric procedures Prior travel healthcare experience preferred Epic experience preferred Additional experience in ENT, GU, plastics, or burns preferred Ability to take call and work weekend requirements Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile fields for procedures Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during a wide range of complex surgical cases Maintain sterile technique and support patient safety throughout all phases of surgery Anticipate surgical team needs and provide efficient intraoperative support Handle instrumentation and equipment for neuro, spine, orthopedic, and general surgery cases Support call coverage and weekend surgical needs as assigned Document and communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow Apply now to join a Columbus-area surgical team and advance your career in travel surgical technology. 401K with Matching, Healthcare, Dental and Vision We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity across our organization.
