CVICU Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in a busy and fast-paced Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, focusing on the highest acuity patients in the area.Shift InformationShift Type: DaysShift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 48 hours per weekSchedule: 7 AM to 7 PM, every other weekendUnit OverviewThe CVICU provides comprehensive care for patients undergoing various cardiovascular procedures, except for transplants. The unit is characterized by a high patient volume and the management of complex cases, utilizing advanced medical devices and techniques.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients in the CVICU.Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate care plans.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and optimize patient outcomes.Utilize advanced cardiovascular devices, including ECMO, Impella, balloon pumps, and VADs.QualificationsExperience: Minimum of 2 years in a CVICU setting.Certifications:ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support)NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)Skills RequiredFamiliarity with high-acuity cardiovascular care.Experience with advanced cardiovascular management technologies.Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.If you are a dedicated professional looking to make a significant impact in a high-acuity healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply and join our exceptional nursing team.
