We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our high-performing service team. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced luxury automotive environment, excels at building customer relationships, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional service experience while maximizing service sales and customer retention.

Position Summary

The Service Advisor serves as the primary liaison between our guests and the service department, ensuring every customer receives an exceptional Mercedes-Benz ownership experience. This role requires outstanding communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a commitment to delivering personalized service while effectively managing repair orders from write-up through vehicle delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service Lead: Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the service visit, greeting guests promptly and building trust and long-term relationships.
• Intake & Repair Orders: Listen carefully to customer concerns, accurately document vehicle symptoms, and prepare detailed repair orders according to dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Recommendations & Estimates: Recommend maintenance and repair services based on Mercedes-Benz factory guidelines , technician inspections, and customer needs. Clearly explain recommended services, repair priorities, pricing, and estimated completion times.
• Department Coordination: Coordinate with technicians, parts personnel, warranty administrators, and management to ensure efficient workflow and timely vehicle completion.
• Proactive Communication: Provide regular updates to customers regarding vehicle status, approvals, and estimated delivery times.
• Final Delivery: Review completed repairs with customers, explaining work performed and maintenance recommendations in a clear, professional manner.
• Performance Targets: Identify opportunities to increase customer retention, service sales, and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) performance through exceptional communication and follow-up.
• Compliance & Standards: Maintain accurate records while ensuring compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and California regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications & Skill Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Previous automotive dealership Service Advisor experience required.
• Licensing: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Software Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Proficiency with Dealership Management Systems (DMS) such as Reynolds & Reynolds and MyKaarma preferred.

Key Competencies

• Luxury Dealership Experience: Mercedes-Benz dealership experience strongly preferred.
• Communication & Sales: Outstanding customer service, interpersonal skills, and a strong sales aptitude with the ability to confidently present maintenance and repair recommendations.
• Organization: Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple repair orders simultaneously.
• Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of luxury dealership service operations, warranty procedures, and repair order documentation.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation Details

• Expected Annual Earnings: $70,000.00 – $240,000.00+
• Pay Structure: Compensation consists of a competitive commission-based pay plan. High-performing Service Advisors have the opportunity to earn well above the stated range based on productivity, customer satisfaction (CSI), sales performance, and overall results.
• California Labor Law Compliance: In accordance with California law, employees are paid at least minimum wage for all applicable non-sales duties, rest periods, and other compensable time.
