Job Description

Paragon Community Services provides day services for adults and children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. At Paragon, we understand that each individual is unique, which is why we tailor our programs to the personalized needs of each participant. We believe the most effective programs are dynamic and flexible, with a caring touch, to ensure our participants achieve their highest potential.

As a Direct Support Professional , you will:

• Be part of a reliable, caring team that provides direct care and supervision to participants in an Adult Day Service with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Strive to maximize personal growth, self-esteem, and happiness in every participant
• Provide greater independence and improve the lives of the people we serve
• Provide direct care and supervision for participants with disabilities related to activities, outings, personal cares, lunch, and transportation
• Contribute to the overall health, safety, and welfare of those we serve
• Ensure focus on person centered goals
• Complete essential paperwork

Qualifications:

• 16 years of age or older
• Valid Wisconsin Driver's license preferred
• Acceptable driving record per company insurance guidelines
• Previous work experience preferred
