About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical (Telemetry) Duration: 20 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable Certifications: BLS, NIH, IV Start, Telemetry Must-Have: Traveler experience accepted; preferred experience with ACLS Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO could possibly lead to cancellation. Unit will accept 20+ week contracts up to February 27, 2027. Minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are accepted. Local candidates are welcomed but may be subject to a lower rate. Telemetry experience is required. Must maintain hand hygiene compliance of 75%. Target patient ratios are expected to be 1:5-7, subject to fluctuation. Daily census is approximately 39, with a total of 40 available beds. Candidates must float as required. Weekend requirements involve working 2-3 weekends in a 6-week period. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Adequate interdisciplinary support is available on the unit. Unit goals focus on outstanding customer service, patient care, and fostering a collaborative environment. Specific skills include blood product administration, central line care, and dysrhythmia interpretation. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as needed. Pre-start modules are non-billable and must be completed online prior to beginning work.
