We treat a diverse patient population with musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, including pre/post-surgical and sports-related injuries. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team. You will play a vital role in helping our patients regain movement, manage pain, and improve their overall quality of life. This position offers an opportunity to work in a relaxed environment with a focus on quality, hands-on treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement patient care plans. Carry out patient treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist, which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
• Provide direct patient care. Instruct and assist patients with prescribed exercises and activities to improve strength, mobility, and coordination.
• Document patient progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, progress, and responses to therapy using our EMR system.
• Communicate effectively. Collaborate with other support staff, and educate patients and families on their treatment plan.
• Maintain a safe environment. Assist with the preparation and cleanliness of the treatment area and equipment.

Required qualifications

• Licensure: Active and valid NJ PT license.
• Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting preferred
• Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team-first attitude.
