Operations Manager- High-end Custom Homes

Position Overview:
Join a Multi-state construction General Contractor with a high-end residential construction outfit, specializing in custom homes and renovations. This role supports project leadership across the full lifecycle-from preconstruction through completion-while helping ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with Operations leadership to manage custom home projects from planning through closeout
• Coordinate communication between clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Assist with scheduling, procurement timelines, and project documentation
• Review plans for accuracy, constructability, and coordination across disciplines
• Support bidding, subcontractor selection, and contract/change order management
• Track project progress, identify risks, and help resolve scheduling or budget issues proactively
• Ensure timely distribution of plans, updates, and RFIs
• Help drive operational processes, SOP adherence, and continuous improvement
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners
• Support permitting, inspections, quality control, punch lists, and project closeout
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
• Contribute to team leadership, training, and overall project success

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in high-end residential or commercial construction management
• Strong knowledge of plans, scheduling, budgeting, and construction methods
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction software (e.g., Bluebeam)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
