Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate for its Birmingham, MI office. The role focuses on national product liability defense across the United States, requiring 4-6 years of relevant experience. Duties Prepare for trials, including managing files and motion practice. Conduct depositions and engage in expert challenges. Perform legal research and draft legal documents. Negotiate settlements and manage client relationships. Collaborate with a high-volume practice team. Requirements Licensed to practice law in Michigan or eligible for admission without examination. Detail-oriented with strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel and work at least 3 days in the office. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active Michigan State Bar membership. Skills Strong research, writing, and negotiation abilities. Experience in trial preparation and motion practice.
