Job Duties

The attorney will manage multiple cases, handle regulatory and compliance matters, and act as the primary contact for litigation and client counseling. Manage and litigate cases related to managed care and health care issues. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering legal advice and coordinating case-related activities. Oversee regulatory and compliance matters, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations. Conduct detailed legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys. Represent clients in court, arbitration proceedings, and settlement negotiations. Provide significant case management and client counseling, coordinating with associates and staff. Stay updated on relevant legal developments and changes in managed care and health care regulations.

Qualifications

Firm type: litigation or healthcare, experience: 3-5 years. The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in complex matters and employment litigation and arbitration, with a focus on managed care or health care. This role requires excellent academic credentials, strong writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills. Requirements Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Active membership in good standing of the New Jersey State Bar. 2-3 years of law firm or relevant in-house experience in complex litigation and arbitration. Experience with managed care or health care is required. Proven ability to handle multiple cases and manage regulatory or compliance matters. Strong client counseling and case management skills. Exceptional academic credentials. Advanced writing, research, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
