WC Smith is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team at The Collective , a premier Class A luxury apartment community. This individual is responsible for supporting the leasing operations of the community while delivering an elevated customer experience to prospective and current residents. Our Leasing Consultants play a critical role in maintaining occupancy, driving resident satisfaction, showcasing the community’s luxury amenities and lifestyle, and guiding applicants through the leasing process. As a Leasing Consultant, you are detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and committed to creating a seamless, high-touch resident experience that reflects the exceptional standards of The Collective.

Rotating Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

THE LEASING CONSULTANT WILL:

• Conduct apartment tours and effectively present the community to prospective residents.
• Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
• Process applications and housing packets in accordance with community and program requirements.
• Coordinate move-ins, lease signings, transfers, and move-outs.
• Assist residents with questions regarding leases, assistance programs, and community policies.
• Ensure resident files are complete, accurate, and audit-ready at all times.
• Maintain knowledge of housing regulations and occupancy requirements.
• Enter and maintain prospect, applicant, and resident information within property management systems.
• Support occupancy goals through effective lead management and resident retention efforts.
• Partner with the management team to ensure compliance with all Fair Housing and housing regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance, attitude, and customer service approach at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

A LEADING APPLICANT HAS:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Leasing Consultant in residential property management.
• Previous experience working at a Class A Luxury apartment with at least 300 units. 
• Experience processing housing packets and reviewing applicant documentation for program eligibility.
• Knowledge of housing compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws and leasing best practices.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and resident files.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience with Yardi is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, applicants, vendors, and team members.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and tour the community throughout the workday.
