Tax Supervisor | Saddle Brook, NJ | Hybrid | $110,000 to $140,000 A well established CPA firm in Saddle Brook, NJ is looking for a Tax Supervisor to join its team. This is a great opportunity for a strong tax professional who wants meaningful client relationships, sophisticated work, and real room to grow, without the grind of a mega firm. About the Role You’ll work with a high net worth, client‑centric book of business, handling complex returns across individuals, partnerships, and S corporations. Clients span real estate, wholesale distribution, and construction, so the work stays varied and interesting. You’ll also roll up your sleeves on year‑end workpapers for tax basis financials, so solid accounting fundamentals matter here. This is a hybrid position with 2 to 3 days per week in the office. What You’ll Do Prepare and review 1065, 1120S, 1040 (including complex high net worth individual returns), and 1041 filings Manage year‑end workpapers for tax basis financial statements Build and maintain strong client relationships with a communicative, service‑first approach Work closely with firm leadership on a sophisticated client base What We’re Looking For 5 to 7+ years of tax experience, all within public accounting (CPA firm experience is a must) Deep experience with 1065, 1120S, 1041, and high net worth 1040 preparation Strong accounting skills to support tax basis financial work Excellent communication skills and a genuine client service mindset CCH software experience is a plus Multi‑state tax prep experience is a plus Industry exposure to real estate, wholesale distribution, or construction is a plus Compensation and Growth Base salary of $110,000 to $140,000 depending on experience Clear room to grow within the firm #J-18808-Ljbffr Sherwood Staffing Partners
