Are you passionate about cars and customer service? Join our team as a Quick Lube Service Advisor at Sun Auto Tire & Service. We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic individual to assist customers with their vehicle maintenance needs. Job Summary The Quick Lube Service Advisor (QLSA) is responsible for creating lasting impressions and retaining guests by using interpersonal skills and knowledge of products and services. This role requires no previous automotive supervisory or mechanical experience, but the representative must be knowledgeable about automotive services and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation Starting at: $30,000/Yr. to $40,000/Yr. + Bonus Benefits Closed Sunday Competitive Bi-Weekly Pay Tuition Reimbursement Paid Vacation and Sick Time 6 Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance (Company-paid) 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match Discounted Services on Personal and Immediate Family Vehicles Opportunity for Advancement Essential Roles and Responsibilities Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly, provide information about quick lube services, pricing, and estimated wait times, and ensure customer satisfaction. Service Recommendations: Present oil change options and additional services based on manufacturer recommendations and DVI documentation. Referral Conversion: Connect referrals for conversion to full-service repairs in adjacent/sister service-forward & tire-forward stores. Customer Communication: Keep customers informed about their service status, any additional maintenance needs, and the completion time of their vehicles. Billing and Payment: Prepare and present service invoices, process payments, and handle billing inquiries or disputes. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and follow-up actions required. Coordination with Technicians: Communicate effectively with lube technicians to relay customer requests and ensure timely service delivery. Promotions and Offers: Inform customers about current promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs. Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the customer waiting area and quick lube area are clean, organized, and stocked with supplies. Problem-Solving: Address and resolve customer or team member issues promptly and effectively. Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures at all times. Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Qualifications Professional appearance and proven ability to work in a process-driven environment. Valid driver’s license. Must be at least 18 years of age. Availability to work a minimum of five days, including weekends. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for excellent customer service. Organizational skills for managing appointments and records. Problem-solving skills to address customer issues professionally. Sales skills to recommend additional services and promotions. Basic computer skills for scheduling, billing, and record-keeping. Team collaboration with lube technicians and other team members. Experience in a fast-paced service environment preferred. Working Conditions Work is primarily performed in a service garage setting with exposure to weather conditions, noise, and vehicle exhaust. Schedule Full-time position with potential for weekend and evening shifts.
