LCMS Scientist

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina

Eurofins Discovery seeks an analytical chemist to develop and conduct LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK applications in a contract research laboratory. The role involves method development, troubleshooting mass spectrometers and HPLC instruments, quality control, and support for multiple service lines based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize LC-MS methods for ADME/toxicology and related assay services
Troubleshoot and maintain mass spectrometers and HPLC equipment, including Sciex or Waters instruments
Perform data quality control reviews and report release within the department
Manage reagent and sample inventory; prepare and validate new analytical methods
Support internal and external client projects with minimal supervision and communicate project updates

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant lab experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or Ph.D. with 1+ year
Direct LC-MS or LC-UV experience in CRO or industry for ADME/DMPK applications
Expertise in mass spectrometry-based quantification in biological matrices
Experience with analytical method development, validation per FDA/ICH guidelines
Proficiency in liquid handling, automation, solid-phase extraction, and high-throughput screening
Knowledge of quality management systems and GxP compliance
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
