Adjunct English Instructor

Position Overview Lincoln Land Community College seeks qualified part-time instructors to teach English Composition and Corequisite Composition, on-site for daytime classes at our main campus, Lind Land Medical District and outreach centers located in Taylorville, Litchfield, Jacksonville and Beardstown. Responsibilities Teach scheduled courses in English Composition and Corequisite Composition, prepare instructional materials, assess student progress, and foster an inclusive learning environment. Qualifications Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours of coursework in English. Prior teaching experience preferred. Successful completion of a criminal background check. Compensation and Benefits One paid absence per class, per semester. Free access to the LLCC Fitness Center (subject to available hours). Travel stipend for commutes exceeding twenty miles. Tuition waiver benefit for adjunct faculty and dependents under age 22. Eligibility to participate in the State Universities Retirement System (SURS) for qualifying assignments.
