Bookkeeper
LHH recruitment solutions is hiring for a bookkeeper in the Jacksonville Beach, FL area. Our client is looking for a bookkeeper with strong accounts payable and receivables background. This position is working fully in office 7am-4pm work schedule with a growing client that offers excellent benefits.
You are a great fit if:
- 5 plus years of general bookkeeping experience
- Service industry experience a plus
- Quickbooks online a plus
Responsibilities to include:
- Match packing slips/purchase orders to A/P invoices and code to appropriate general ledger accounts, departments and projects
- Maintain vendor and subcontractor files and process weekly disbursements/check runs
- Sales tax assessment
- Monthly vendor and credit card statement reconciliations
- Process/post high volume of check, credit card payments and remote deposits for both service and construction customers and reconcile a daily cash summary
- Set up new projects, input contracts and budgets for remodel/construction jobs
- Monitor all open projects and prepare billing invoices for percentage contract payments
- Process large volume of customer statements on monthly basis
- Customer A/R communications and reconciliations
- A/R collections, NTOs and Lien releases
- Assist in monthly inventory reconciliation for multiple locations
