Tax Manager – Real Estate
Woodbury, NY (local preferred | open to remote)
Seeking a Tax Manager with strong real estate experience (residential, commercial, industrial, etc.) to lead engagements and support a growing client base.
Details:
- Manage tax engagements from planning through delivery
- Review returns, extensions, and tax planning for C-Corps, S-Corps, Partnerships, and individuals
- Handle complex multi-state and consolidated filings
- Conduct tax research and respond to IRS/state inquiries
- Build client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Mentor staff and oversee workflow, deadlines, and deliverables
- Support business development and proposals
Skills:
- CPA or EA
- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong background in real estate clients
- Experience with multi-entity and multi-state taxation
- Leadership and client-facing experience
