Project Accountant

KBW has partnered with a growing, venture-backed company seeking a Project Accountant to oversee accounting for capital projects. This role will manage project costing, fixed assets, capitalization, and government program reporting while partnering closely with project managers, engineering, and procurement. Key Responsibilities Track capital expenditures and project budgets vs. actuals Manage capitalization of assets and establish depreciation when placed in service Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, transfers, and disposals Manage accounting and cost tracking within government guidelines Prepare project cost reports, invoices, and funding drawdowns Complete project-related journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3+ years cost/project accounting experience Prior experience working within government acquisition regulations Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets Compensation: $100,000-125,000 plus bonus and strong benefits package Please contact Jeremy Gill at View email address on click.appcast.io for more information. #J-18808-Ljbffr KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting
