TIG WelderA client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a TIG Welder.Position type: Full Time, ContractDuration: 6 + months with possible extensionLocation: Anaheim, CA, 92806Job ResponsibilitiesLayout work requirements and obtain needed equipment to perform routine repair and alteration operations, inspect weld for bead sized and compliance with other specificationsBlend, grind, or polish weld ensuring specified minimum wall requirement is metWork with Engineering on new R&D projects and working with Redline Drawings.Prototype welding projects will be 50% of the job at times.Use calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges to measure repaired part and ensure dimensional requirements are met. Complete production paperworkUse and interpret complicated prints, drawings, and process sheets to perform a variety of layouts, as well as complete and sign work orders identifying the operations performedPerform standard hand and machine welding operations to fabricate or restore parts and tools where close tolerances are not normally required, and specifically defined criteria are used.Build up finished machined surfaces and repair simple cracks and other routine imperfections. Use a variety of fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record resultsRecognize need and arrange for repair or replacement of equipment used in performing the work as necessary.
