Work Environment\n

This role provides the unique opportunity to work remotely, allowing for flexible engagement with clients in school settings across Miami, Florida. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours required based on client schedules and needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver direct clinical services to students experiencing symptoms associated with major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.

• Conduct individual assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions to support client needs.

• Collaborate effectively with educational staff, parents, and guardians to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
\n
• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops on coping skills and emotional resilience within the school environment.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with each client while adhering to ethical guidelines and the code of conduct established by Polaris Behavioral Health Center.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to advance shared goals and enhance patient outcomes.

In this role, you will work primarily with children and adolescents from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may face significant emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
