Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs of students within the primary care scope at schools.

• Deliver effective behavioral health services to individuals, couples, and families, which may include intake interviews, comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and referrals for substance use treatment.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of mental health evaluations and progress, ensuring all records are accurately captured and up to date in electronic health record systems.

• Provide referrals and connect families with community resources, including medication assistance programs and locality services.
\n
• Engage in regular collaborations with educational staff and Quality Improvement teams to refine processes for data collection, enhancing service delivery and student outcomes.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will primarily focus on school-aged children and adolescents, collaborating closely with families to address a range of mental health issues. You will support students who may be facing academic pressures, emotional challenges, familial issues, or behavioral health concerns, ensuring they receive the tailored care they need in a supportive and understanding environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Pennsylvania is required and must be maintained.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience in mental health settings, particularly working with children and adolescents.

• Knowledge of counseling techniques, crisis intervention methods, and a proven ability to make independent clinical judgments during direct service.

Compensation and Benefits\n
