If you believe in these things too, you're our kind of person!We are currently seeking a Mid-Level Application Developer located in the Washington, D.C. area to support an automation technology innovation program.What you'll do:The Mid-Level Application Developer will support the development of emerging solutions designed to empower MBC's government clients.Responsibilities:Implement scoped Python backend fixes and REST API integrations using Flask or FastAPIImprove the Vue.js interface, including answer presentation, citations, tables and error statesUse SQL and graph queries to validate records, relationships and financial fields; trace issues across retrieval, backend responses and UI renderingBuild regression tests and document expected versus actual results, evidence, defects and remaining limitationsMaintain focused code changes, technical documentation and clear progress updatesSupport controlled validation and releasesAdhere to and report on technical milestones and the overall project scheduleParticipate in and support internal and external engagements including client meetings, conferences, and industry daysEvaluate operational deficiencies, recommend improvements, and coordinate their implementationAttend meetings and program reviews, assist with compiling presentations, written materials, and/or electronic communications as requiredTravel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients.
