Job Description Summary:

• As a member of a sales team, the sales professional is responsible for maintaining and strengthening customer relationships within a defined territory. Identifies opportunities for account growth while offering customers a full array of value-added services.

Job Specific Summary:

• As a Business Development Specialist in WWS, you will hunt for net-new revenue and strategically expand FedEx's market share among large corporate accounts. You will act as a consultative supply chain expert, guiding C-suite executives through complex logistical transformations and transitioning their operations from competitors to the FedEx ecosystem.

Essential Functions:

• Acquire, Develop and Expand customer revenue
• High level of negotiation skills needed to implement complex pricing programs, logistics optimization, and aligning customers' needs to strategic goals of the company.
• Exhibiting outstanding communication skills including verbal, written and listening to learn the customer's business and leverages emerging technology and internal systems to drive compelling business proposition.
• Coordinates and collaborates with internal functional teams to provide a seamless and outstanding customer experience.
• Manage and execute key success factors to meet quarterly goals.
• Strong business acumen skills, project management skills and ability to generate creative solutions based on customer needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work/Domicile Location:

• This position may be located in Durham, North Carolina or Concord, North Carolina.

Relocation:

• Relocation assistance may be available based upon business needs.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree/equivalent.

Minimum Experience:

• Two (2) years of business-to-business sales or related Company business experience required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to travel overnight as required.

Job Conditions:

• Moderate travel required.
