OnSite Specialist - Chicago, IL

Field-based endoscopy specialist supporting surgical teams at a Chicago-area facility. Responsible for preparing and maintaining surgical equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure smooth operating room operations and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manage, and maintain surgical equipment and disposables to ensure readiness before procedures
• Support operating room teams during endoscopic procedures by anticipating needs and providing timely adjustments
• Troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex equipment issues independently
• Maintain accurate documentation including procedure details, equipment usage, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with surgeons, OR personnel, and biomedical staff to deliver excellent service and continuous improvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work rotating, on-call, overnight, and weekend shifts with 45-minute response time
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently; stand, walk, and bend for extended periods
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clear communication abilities
• Willingness to travel for account coverage and occasional overnight assignments

Compensation: $26.10/hour base + benefits
