This position assists Supervisors and Managers at their designated facility.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSuccessfully complete, perform, and maintain the Valve Technician I, II and III job functionsTrain and instruct Valve Technicians on all aspects of job functionsAssist Supervisor as needed and fill in during the Supervisor’s absenceAdminister and ensure quality and safety procedures are being followedInterpret site KPI’s and develop operational changes to support efficient performanceConduct and facilitate meetingsComply with company’s Quality Program by following all in-house quality processes and procedures and required AAR and FRA rules and regulations as well as any client specific proceduresUtilize mobile and desktop hardware for operational effectivenessMaintain and coordinate control of tooling and equipment, including tool board inventory, to prevent workflow interruptionAssist in employee personnel recruitment processesAny other duties as assigned such special projectsAbility to read, write, and communicate English at a proficient levelAbility to learn function specific operational details and pass an exam to demonstrate knowledgeAbility to learn, follow and perform required recordkeeping of Guardian Rail EHS, and Quality policies, procedures, and checklists.Work in hot and cold environment, in and out of the weather; work safely around heavy equipment and on top of, under and inside railcars, as well as around railroad tracks.Knowledge of equipment and tools required to perform safe entry for cleaningAbility to rebuild ValvesPerform/ prioritize multiple tasks with attention to details.Ability to follow oral and written instructions.Ability to wear and care for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to steel toed boots, eye protection, hearing protection, gloves, and other PPE as required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Guardian-Rail,-LLC
