Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner at the counter
• Prepare and build made-to-order sandwiches, subs, and deli items with speed and accuracy
• Take customer orders in-person and ensure order accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift
• Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service, deli, or counter service preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, outgoing attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one

Brooklyn Pickle is an iconic sandwich shop that's been serving famously overstuffed sandwiches and delicious sides for over 50 years.  We are also a local favorite from NY to NC because of homemade daily specials that are unique to each location with generous portions and friendly service that always feels like home.  Serving in Raleigh, Charlotte and Southern Pines with more locations coming!

Schedule: Operational hours are Mon - Fri: 10 AM to 4 PM (closed on weekends).  We are currently seeking part-time candidates with open weekday availability between 10 AM to close (approximately 4:45 PM).  We offer flexible scheduling with cross-training to potentially grow into full-time positions. 

Pay: $13–$16/hour, based on experience (plus tips and bonuses)
