Maintenance Associate, Full-timeSt. Charles Borromeo Catholic School is seeking a full time Maintenance Associate. This role is responsible for the repair, renovation, and upkeep of buildings, facilities, and equipment on St. Charles Borromeo school property.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform daily checks of the buildings and grounds to ensure trash/debris is picked up from common areas and grounds ensuring the area is presentable and always inviting.General maintenance/carpentry of walls, doors, windows, carpet, tile, caulk, and paint where needed.Set up for events and meetings.Secure all buildings on campus at the end of the day.Electrical: perform all minor repairs such as outlets, switches, light bulbs, and fixtures.Air Conditioning: replace belts, filters and thermostats as needed.Plumbing: repair minor water leaks, replace faucets, open drains as needed.Custodial duties as needed throughout the day.Other tasks as determined by Maintenance Director/PrincipalQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentMust have general maintenance skills, janitorial skills and building equipment knowledge.Plumbing or electric license preferredUnderstanding safety protocols and disposal of hazardous waste items.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to climb, bend, kneel, twist, push, pull continuously throughout day.Valid driver's license.Must pass a DOV assigned post offer physical exam.Please note: State of Florida law requires fingerprinting and clearance through the Florida DOE Background Screening Clearinghouse for all school-based positions.
