E-Coat Operator

We are seeking a knowledgeable E-Coat Operator to join our team at Minnesota Industrial Coatings.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor e-coating equipment to apply protective coatings to surfaces according to specifications.Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the coatingPerform routine maintenance on e-coating equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.Coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs and upgrades when needed.Conduct regular quality checks on coated products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.Identify and address any defects or inconsistencies in the coating, adjusting as necessary.Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Identify potential safety hazards and take appropriate measures to mitigate risks.Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, process data, and quality control results.Generate reports on production output, quality metrics, and equipment performance.Perform daily and weekly PM’s on e-coating equipmentAssist with other areas of production and other projects as assigned by Production Team LeaderQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent2-5 years’ experience in E-Coating or in a similar role within a manufacturing environmentSkills and CompetenciesAbility to interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong understanding of e-coating principles, techniques, and equipment operationDetail-oriented with a keen eye for quality control and a commitment to producing high-quality finishesKnowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environmentAbility to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levelsGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a teamPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 40 lbs. on a consistent basisAbility to stand for up to 10 hoursExcellent hand/eye coordinationDemonstrated ability to effectively use power toolsGood manual dexterity, coordination, and staminaConsistently wear personal protective equipmentAbility to work in production facility with fluctuating temperatures and humidity levelsFeatured BenefitsMedical Insurance with HSADental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife InsuranceAccident & Critical Illness Insurance401(k) ContributionsTuition ReimbursementProfit SharingPaid Time Off (PTO)Volunteer PTO9 Paid HolidaysPaid UniformsBoot ReimbursementJob DetailsJob Title: E-Coat OperatorCompany: Minnesota Industrial CoatingsLocation: Princeton, MNShift: 1stReports To: Production Team LeaderDirect Reports: NoPay Type: HourlyJob Type: DirectRequisition ID: 57199The expected base pay range for this position is between $19.00 and $24.00 per hour.
