Make a direct and lasting impact as a Special Education professional within a vibrant K-12 school community near Granite Canon, WY! This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through May 28, 2027, offering the opportunity to guide and support students with diverse learning needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering targeted instruction, and ensuring that every learner has access to the resources and support they need to thrive.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Active or eligible Wyoming Special Education teaching certification/license
• Prior experience working with Special Education students or within a classroom setting is preferred
• Strong communication abilities for collaborating with students, teachers, families, and support staff
• Detail-oriented with an ability to track student progress and manage documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and carry out IEPs tailored to individual student needs across K-12 grades
• Deliver specialized instruction in both academic and behavioral areas
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and IEP objectives
• Provide effective accommodations and modifications to support student success
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams—including teachers, families, and specialists—to ensure comprehensive support
• Maintain up-to-date records and required documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
