Position Overview The Voice Counseling and Life Skills Consultation Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our compassionate team. This full-time position will primarily focus on delivering high-quality mental health services in a remote setting, while also engaging directly with clients in Lakewood, New Jersey. Work Environment This role offers a flexible work environment that predominantly features remote operations. However, the LCSW will occasionally participate in community engagement activities and outreach initiatives, ensuring a hands-on approach to treatment. As part of a dedicated team, you will navigate the complexities of a community health clinic while utilizing a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to service delivery. Key Responsibilities Conduct individual assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy tailored to the unique circumstances and presenting concerns of each client. Engage in crisis intervention efforts and implement strategies to stabilize clients in acute distress. Maintain open lines of communication with clients' families and other stakeholders, ensuring an integrated care approach. Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to optimize service delivery and address social determinants impacting mental health. Conduct ongoing evaluations of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs. Document all client interactions accurately and timely using our electronic health record systems. Participate in professional development activities, quality improvement initiatives, and organizational training sessions. Patient Population / Client Focus This LCSW position is focused on serving a diverse client population, many of whom experience significant barriers to mental health services. Clients may range from children and adolescents to adults facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral issues. Our goal is to empower clients through evidence-based interventions that foster resilience and promote recovery. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred. Must hold a valid and unrestricted LCSW license in the state of New Jersey. Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with clients and staff. Demonstrated understanding of ethical guidelines and compliance with professional standards. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in community mental health settings. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and knowledge of diverse cultural backgrounds will greatly enhance your contributions to our mission. Experience working with underserved populations and navigating public health systems is also highly valued. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
