Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each student’s mental health concerns, personal strengths, and resources available for support. Deliver individual, family, and group therapy in various settings, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that articulate specific goals and interventions based on assessment data. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and educators to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each student. Respond to crises by providing immediate support, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans where necessary. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, reflecting treatment updates and client progress. Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups that address a variety of mental health topics relevant to the school community. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily involve engaging with school-aged children and adolescents who may experience various mental health challenges. The demographic will include diverse backgrounds, with students from different cultural, socio-economic, and academic environments. You will provide necessary support to help these children overcome difficulties that hinder their academic performance and social interactions. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program. Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) . A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on school-based services. Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment methodologies relevant to diverse mental health conditions. Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills that facilitate effective therapy and collaboration. Preferred Experience Experience working in educational settings, with an understanding of the unique challenges faced by students. Familiarity with school mental health programs and available community resources. Proficiency in utilizing telehealth technology and electronic health records for service delivery and documentation. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 , commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
