About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Financial Reporting to take on a pivotal leadership role in overseeing U.S. financial reporting, accounting policy, and regulatory reporting activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the consolidation and financial reporting for U.S. legal entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery. This role also involves reviewing and assessing accounting policies for compliance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS, leading the preparation of financial statements, and maintaining a strong SOX control environment. The Head of Financial Reporting will be a key partner to finance and business leaders, providing insights into financial performance, and driving accounting policy across the organization. Applicants for the Head of Financial Reporting position at the company must have a CPA with at least 10 years' of experience in financial reporting, controllership, or accounting, with a strong preference for those with Big 4 public accounting experience. The role requires a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS, as well as extensive knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and developing accounting teams, driving automation, and process improvements, and be adept at operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. A FINRA Series 99 or Series 27 license, or the willingness to obtain one, is preferred.
