TIG Welder
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and mild steel materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols accurately.
- Prepare materials and ensure quality and strength of welds.
- Operate welding machines and tools efficiently.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including OSHA regulations.
- Work comfortably in various welding positions such as flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, particularly on stainless steel and mild steel.
- Ability to pass a math test involving basic arithmetic and measurement identification.
- Successfully pass MIG/TIG weld test.
- Capacity to read and interpret blueprints.
- Possession of personal welding helmet and gloves.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with blueprint reading and fabrication.
- Familiarity with various welding machines and tools.
- Knowledge of grinding and welding stainless steel.

Work Environment
- Work in a large, organized, and clean warehouse spanning 256,000 square feet. Safety is prioritized with each welder provided their own booth equipped with a snorkel system to vacuum debris. Enjoy a collaborative and supportive environment with provided PPE, though personal helmets and gloves are required.
- Shifts include 1st (5:00am - 3:30pm) and 2nd (3:30pm - 2:00am) with a shift differential for 2nd shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
