Description Weareseekingadetail-oriented,thorough,andorganizedProjectManager(PM)tojoinourgrowingteam.Inthisposition,youwilloverseefinancialbudgets,coordinatesubcontractors,andmanagetheconstructionprocesstomeetcontractualrequirements.Youwillalsoorganizeschedules,trackinventory,andoverseematerialordering.ProjectManagersworkinmanyareasofdevelopmentandareresponsibleformanagingaprojectfromstarttofinish.Theirdutiesincludeputtingtogetheraprojectschedule,hiringsubcontractors,negotiatingcontracts,andobtainingpermits. PMssuperviseconstruction,repair,anddesign-buildprojectsfrombeginningtoend,ensuringthatprojectsarecompletedwithintimeandbudgetaryconstraints.Anunderstandingoftheconstructionbusinessandtheabilitytoworkunderdeadlinesinafast-pacedenvironmentareimportantforcareersuccess.PMscontrolthetime,cost,andqualityofconstructionprojectsawardedbygovernment,commercial,andindustrialclients.Theyplanandcoordinateallaspectsoftheconstructionprocess,includinghiringsubcontractorsandworkingwithengineers,architects,vendors,fieldpersonnel,logisticsprofessionals,andotherstocompleteallaspectsoftheprojectswithinquality,time,andbudgetaryconstraints.PMsarethereforeresponsibleforkeepingassignedprojectsontrack.Theymustpossesstheabilitytonotonlymanagecurrentsituationsastheyarise,butalsoanticipatefuturechallengestoresolveissuesbeforetheybecomeproblems. Duties: Performdailycoordinationwithallprojectsitesuperintendents,updatingPSPleadershiponconstructionprogressandsupportneededateachsite. Collectandorganizeallelectronicdocumentationforeachproject,includingpre-bid,bid,pre-construction,construction,andclose-outdocuments. Developpre-constructionsubmittalsforclientreview/approval,includingmaterialsubmittals,qualitycontrol,safety,riskmanagement,anddesignqualitycontrolplans. Coordinatewithinternalandexternalagenciestodraftandeditworkplansandotherdesignpackages. Provideroutinecommunication,includinge-mailandtelephoniccontactwithvendors,subcontractors,customers,andPSPpersonnel. UtilizeProcore,USArmyCorpsofEngineersRecordManagementSystem(RMS),andsimilarprojectmanagementsoftwaresystemstoinput,manage,andtrackprojectdata. Prepare,submit,andupdateprojectdata,reports,andsubmittalstomeetcontractualrequirementsandclient/leadershipexpectations,toinclude: Filedailyreports. Prepareandtransmitsubmittalsontimetomeetcontractualrequirements. UpdatescheduleprogressandprovideappropriatemanagementtoolstotheclientandPSPleadership. Trackclientreviewofsubmittalsandfollow-upasneeded. Identifymaterialandequipmentrequirementsforprojectexecutionandcoordinatedeliverywhenneededtomeettimelines. Prepareprojectbudgetswithschedulesofvalues.Develop,coordinate,andsubmitdraftandfinalinvoicesforpaymentpercontractrequirements. CoordinateinspectionandoversightoftheClient’sQualityAssuranceRepresentativetominimizeprojectdelays. Develop,implement,andoverseetheSite-SpecificSafetyandHealthPlan/AccidentPreventionPlanandotherapplicabledocumentstoensureprojectsareperformedinasafemanner. Participatein,and/orassistwiththeconductofpre-bidsitevisits,siteinvestigations,kick-offmeetings,andpre-constructionmeetingsasrequired. CoordinateworkrequirementswithoneormoreAssistantPMs. Performotheradministrativeandmanagementtasksasnecessarytodeliverprojectsontimeandonbudget. Requirements,Skills,andQualifications: Bachelor’sdegreeinbusinessadministration,constructionmanagement,orarelatedfieldispreferred. Threeyears’experienceasaconstructionprojectmanagerorinasimilarpositioninconstructionmanagement. Abletomanageandmotivateemployees,teams,andsubcontractorstoaccomplishprojectgoals Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills. Abletomulti-task,prioritize,andmanagetimeefficiently. Accurateandpreciseattentiontodetail. ProficiencywithMicrosoftExcel,Word,andotherMicrosoftOfficeapplicationsisrequiredwhileexperiencewithMicrosoftProject,Procore,andotherconstructionmanagementsoftwareishighlybeneficial. In-depthunderstandingoftheconstructionindustrywithknowledgeoflocal,state,andfederalbuildingcoderegulationsisdesired. ExperienceworkingwithfederalGovernmentcontractsispreferred. CertificationasaProjectManagementProfessional(PMP)isaplus. PhysicalRequirements: Abilitytositatacomputerworkstationforseveralhoursatatime. AdditionalInformation: DutiesareperformedprimarilyinPSP’sBrentwood,TNoffice. Occasionaltraveltovendorlocations,worksites,andoff-sitemeetinglocationsintheUnitedStateswithallrelatedexpensespaidforbythecompany.
