Senior Revenue Manager

A high growth technology startup is looking for a strong Senior Revenue Manager to own Revenue Accounting. Responsibilities Own end-to-end revenue accounting across the company’s products and services Prepare technical revenue memos Review customer contracts and evaluate the accounting treatment of standard and non‑standard arrangements Prepare and maintain standalone selling price analyses, revenue schedules, and supporting documentation Ensure revenue is recorded accurately, completely, and in accordance with U.S. GAAP Build processes and controls that support future growth and withstand audit scrutiny Lead system implementation and continued development of revenue accounting systems Oversee the flow of information from contract execution through invoicing, revenue recognition, payment, and reconciliation Manage accounts receivable and collections, streamlining processes Partner with Engineering and other technical teams to understand data architecture, troubleshoot discrepancies, and improve the reliability of revenue‑related data Collaborate with the billing team to strengthen invoicing processes and resolve operational issues Identify gaps across upstream and downstream revenue workflows and implement practical, scalable improvements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and active CPA 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and revenue accounting in startup or high growth software/SaaS, AI, or technology company Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP Experience with subscription, usage‑based, consumption‑based, or other complex revenue models Experience working with Engineering or Data teams to resolve system and data issues Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with complex datasets #J-18808-Ljbffr
