Are you an experienced RN ready to use your clinical expertise in a new way? Looking for less weekend commitment, more consistent weekday hours, or an opportunity to step away from the bedside while still making a meaningful impact on patient care? The Patient Flow team offers a unique opportunity to apply your critical thinking skills in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment—without the physical demands of the bedside.
In this role, you will have a direct impact on patient care across all three Sanford Fargo campuses. You will help ensure patients receive the right care, at the right time, in the right location. Your knowledge of inpatient workflows and clinical acuity will be essential as you coordinate admissions, transfers, and patient flow across the North Region.
As part of the Patient Flow team, you will serve as the central point of contact for providers. You will manage incoming calls, coordinate patient transfers, and align admission activity. You will also monitor real-time and projected bed capacity to support safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and the ability to anticipate care workflows.
This is a great fit for RNs with 3+ years of inpatient experience who are ready to expand their impact beyond a single unit. You will gain a wider perspective and play a key role in supporting patient flow and operational success across Sanford Health.
If you enjoy problem-solving, collaboration, and making meaningful decisions that impact patients at a broader level, this is a rewarding next step in your career.
