Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Must take a full 6 months off from any Good Samaritan Society and Marshfield Clinic Health System location.

Unit Details: General medical/surgical patients who are ready to be discharged from the ER but have not yet been assigned to a specific unit; performs initial admissions and cares for patients until they move to their new unit. Uses Zebra phones for communication, Omnicell for medications, and Aleris IV pumps. Patient ratios: 5:1 days, 6:1 nights. New, fast-paced medical/surgical unit.

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Night Rotate: 0700-1930 or 1900-0730. Every other weekend and every other holiday. No call.

Floating Requirements: Will float to other medical/surgical units as needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Driver’s license required for submission
