Job Description
The Forklift Operator plays a vital role in the warehouse and logistics teams, ensuring efficient and safe movement of materials throughout the facility. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position works primarily on regular daytime shifts with no travel requirements. The operator is responsible for handling loads, tracking inventory, and maintaining safety standards to support seamless warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift to transport materials safely and efficiently
- Handle loading and unloading of goods with care
- Track inventory and update records accurately
- Adhere to safety protocols and compliance standards
- Perform basic maintenance and routine equipment inspections
- Stage materials for shipment or storage as needed
- Navigate warehouse layout to optimize workflow
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in forklift operation
