You will be responsible for the administrative and technical management of a large work force, consisting mainly of engineering and technician employees and subordinate supervisors.

You will coordinate/integrate the work of lower organizational units, identify where corrective action is needed and provide assistance/advice to lower-level supervisors and department personnel where problems exist or are developing.

You will work closely with other managers outside the unit to further activity and agency programs.

You will be the prime contact with the department's operations under his/her management responsibility and provide information and advice to higher level managers when the work of the unit impacts on other groups.

You will be responsible for management of the Department's Operations including planning, finances, human resources, Information/Technology, engineering, contracts and facilities.

You will prepare the Department's Annual Business Plan and coordinate Department Reviews with senior management; Track the Department's overall financial performance and metrics, and develop and manage the Department's operating budget.

You will develop department technical and Business Health Assessments, prepare and coordinate the department staffing and hiring plans, provide DEMO oversight, monitor Department EEO adherence, track DAWIA compliance and review all personnel actions.

You will develop department strategy and plans regarding NMCI, RDT/E network, and Information Assurance compliance.
