Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Location: Omak, Washington

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and progress

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington or eligibility to obtain
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Prior experience working in a SNF or long-term care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with geriatric patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
