Kitchen Porter

Terroir Tribeca is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Porter to join our restaurant team. The Porter is an essential part of keeping the restaurant clean, organized, safe, and ready for service. This position works closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams and will also assist with basic food preparation and service-related tasks.

Dishwashing & Kitchen Support

• Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout service.
• Maintain clean and sanitary floors, walls, drains, sinks, shelving, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and organizational tasks.
• Take out garbage, recycling, and compost as needed and maintain clean waste areas.
• Sweep and mop kitchen, dish, storage, and service areas throughout the shift.
• Help with deliveries, storage, and organization of supplies when needed.

Food & Service Assistance

• Assist with oyster service , including basic preparation, setup, and maintaining a clean and organized oyster station.
• Assist with cheese and charcuterie preparation, organization, plating, and service.
• Assist with dessert preparation and plating as directed by the kitchen team.
• Help prepare and organize garnishes, service items, and other basic food-preparation tasks when needed.
• Maintain proper food-handling and sanitation standards at all times.

Applicants must be available to work:

• Monday: 2:00 PM – Close
• Thursday: 2:00 PM – Close
• Friday: 2:00 PM – Close

Availability for these shifts is a requirement for the position . Additional shifts may be available as needed.
