Our client is seeking two highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineers to support a critical engagement with a leading Fortune 100 healthcare organization. This initiative involves standing up a new AWS cloud environment that will mirror the rules, governance, and standards of the client's existing AWS ecosystem while leveraging modern cloud-native management solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a senior-level AWS domain expert with deep hands-on experience architecting, building, and operationalizing enterprise cloud environments in highly regulated organizations. Candidates must be able to operate independently, move quickly, and support an accelerated project timeline.

The ideal candidate will be a senior-level AWS domain expert with deep hands-on experience architecting, building, and operationalizing enterprise cloud environments in highly regulated organizations. Candidates must be able to operate independently, move quickly, and support an accelerated project timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- rchitect and build a new AWS cloud environment aligned with the client's existing enterprise governance and compliance framework.
- Implement AWS Control Tower, AWS Config, and IAM guardrails (SCP, Identity, Permissions).
- Design and configure AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and network connectivity.
- Develop scalable, secure, and automated Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Implement DevOps workflows for deployment, monitoring, automation, and cloud lifecycle management.
- Support ongoing operations and cloud hygiene for the newly built AWS environment.
- Collaborate with cloud platform, governance, and security teams to ensure enterprise alignment.
- Transition into continued support beyond May 31 through a new contract with Client or another Pharmaceutical team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5-10+ years of deep hands-on AWS engineering experience
- Proven expertise in:
- WS Services Architecture
- Control Tower
- WS Config
- IAM/SCP/Identity
- CloudFormation
- WS Networking & VPC Design
- Strong DevOps engineering skills for deploying and operating cloud environments

- Python coding experience for cloud automation
- Experience working in large-scale, complex, regulated enterprises
