Such programs include but are not limited to: Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL), Comprehensive Stress Testing, Risk Adjusted Return on Capital (RAROC), and Model Risk Management. The analysis performed will play a key role in supporting bank-wide initiatives through risk identification and quantification. Essential FunctionsContributes to the development and evolution of risk metrics for the bank. Creates, maintains, and enhances reports to key stakeholders.Operates existing ERM models and aggregates results.Utilizes data and information to aid in risk-based decision-making.Sources and cleans data. Aids in the determination of business rules for preparing data to be consumed in both formal and informal processes.Queries, aggregates, and manipulates large datasets for various analyses. Supports the transformation of information into key business insights.Assists in the design of department/system processes for Risk Management that are efficient and comply with regulatory standards. Prepares related training materials.Supports best practices in modeling and model risk management (e.g., parameterize and calibrate forecasting models, perform ongoing monitoring of model assumptions, develop and update documentation).Provides analytic support for ad-hoc analysis and development of visualizations with potential of becoming a standard for the bank.Supports the monitoring of data integrity and model risk controls execution. Identifies risks, proactively solves problems and addresses issues.Supports executive-level risk committees and working groups, including the creation of committee packages and other presentations.EducationBachelor's Degree Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or other relevant discipline requiredMaster's Degree in a quantitative discipline preferredWork Experience1 year of finance and risk management experience requiredPrior Experience with the finance and lending industry, including instrument structures/types and financial markets requiredPrior experience with third party vendor tools, such as SAS, QRM, etc. preferred.Prior Experience with statistical and/or database software packages such as SAS, R, Python, or SQL, Excel VBA requiredKnowledge and experience with market risk modeling, prepayment modeling, loss forecasting, regression models and economic capital requiredKnowledge of quantitative risk modeling theory and practice, and experience developing models requiredPrior Experience Risk Assessment, Data Analysis Tools, Financial Modeling, Compliance Audits, Reporting Tools preferredFRM, PRM and/or CFA certification preferredWork experience within the Farm Credit System, and/or knowledge of the agriculture industry preferredPhysical Exertion DetailsSedentary Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
