Medaqual works with practices across a wide range of specialties and bills directly from their EMR systems. The company has deep expertise in platforms such as EClinical Works, Medent and Epic. Medaqual also provides medical record auditing, consulting, credentialing, and practice development to help practices operate efficiently and compliantly. Role Description The Medical Biller is responsible for managing the full billing cycle for multiple medical practices, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance carriers and government payers. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing patient encounters, verifying insurance coverage, entering and updating billing information, and submitting claims through practice EMR systems. The role involves monitoring claim status, identifying and resolving denials, following up with payers, and posting payments and adjustments. The Medical Biller will collaborate with practice staff to address billing inquiries, maintain compliant documentation, and support revenue cycle optimization. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jamison, PA. Qualifications Strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with clinical documentation used in medical billing. Experience handling insurance claims, including commercial insurance, Medicare, and other government payers. Proficiency with ICD-10 coding and understanding of relevant billing and coding guidelines. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve denials, rebill claims, and manage appeals effectively. Prior experience with medical billing in EMR systems (e.g., EClinical Works, Medent, Epic or similar platforms). Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines. Comfort working on-site in a collaborative office environment and communicating clearly with practice staff and payers.
